S. Thomas’ College completely outplayed Dharmaraja College by 48 points (8 tries, 4 conversions) in a Dialog Schools under-19 Rugby League encounter at the Nittawela Rugby Stadium yesterday.

At the short breather Thomians led 34/0. Thomians with this win continued their unbeaten run with yet another bonus point win.

Thomians dominated through their fast moving three quarter line. Their powerful forward pack secured quick ball at every breakdown, allowing the backline to exploit gaps with relentless incisive running lines.

Dharmaraja’s defence buckled repeatedly under sustained pressure, failing to contain the Thomians. Rajans breached the Thomian defence late in the second half for a solitary consolation try.

Thomians scored their tries through Avishka Perera (2), Jason Granadas, Shanush Liyanapathirane, Vishwa Ariyawansa, Aaron Koreira and Mayanka Dias. Udan Bulathsinghalage converted the tries for Thomians.

Vidun Saparamadu scored for Dharamaraja.
