St. Peter’s and Newstead crowned U19 champions at Ritzbury All-Island Schools Tennis Tourney

The Ritzbury All-Island Inter-Schools Tennis Championship 2025, conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Tennis Association, concluded in grand fashion at the Queen’s Tennis Courts in Colombo, with St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya and Newstead Girls’ College, Negombo emerging as Boy’s and Girl’s   Under-19 champions, respectively.

St. Peter’s College showcased dominant form throughout the tournament and claimed the Boy’s  Under-19 title with a resounding 3–0 victory over traditional rivals Royal College, Colombo in the final.

In the Girl’s Under-19 final, Newstead College, Negombo also produced a clinical performance, sweeping Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo 3–0 to secure the championship crown.
