Sri Lanka lose Emerging X1 series

A swashbuckling 129-ball knock of 177 with 13 boundaries and 11 sixes by Shaqkere Parris helped West Indies Emerging XI to record a comfortable 76 runs win over Sri Lanka Emerging XI in the deciding third one-dayer at the NCC ground yesterday helping them to win the series 2-1.

Parris was involved in a massive 222 runs stand in 155 balls for the fourth wicket with Kevlon Anderson who made an unbeaten 86 to help West Indies Emerging XI make an imposing score of 349 for 6.

Sri Lanka Emerging XI were all out for 273.
