Sri Lanka face Brunei in Bangkok tomorrow

The FIFA World Cup International Friendly Series 2025 encounter between Sri Lanka and Brunei will be played tomorrow at the Bangkok National Stadium in Thailand.

The Sri Lanka football team has already completed a successful two-week-long preparatory training camp in Bangkok ahead of the match.

Sri Lanka are expected to field a full-strength squad, aiming for a positive result that will contribute to an upward movement in the FIFA World Rankings.According to FIFA’s current World Ranking, Sri Lanka are ranked 200th while Brunei are ranked 185th.

In matches between the two countries, Sri Lanka has won one and Brunei have won two. In 2009, Sri Lanka beat Brunei 5-1 and lost the two other matches, both 1-0.
