S.Thomas’, Trinity share spoils in annual hockey encounters

Trinity College, Kandy had to fight every inch of the way to beat S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia by two goals to one, in their Annual U-20 Hockey encounter played recently at Mt. Lavinia.   
The Trinitians led 2-0 at half time via goals scored by K.N. Jayalath in the fifth minute and R.A.D. Thilakshana in the 18th minute; the solitary Goal for the Thomians was scored by Nelaka Wickramasinghe in the 49th minute.   

S. Thomas’ College won the U-16 encounter with a hard fought 1-0 win, the winning goals scored by S. Sangeeth in the 12th Minute.   
The Old Boys match ended in a 4 all draw.
