RCGC Quadrangle Golf Champions

The Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup Golf Championship 2025 concluded in grand style, bringing together some of the finest talents on the greens for a day filled with fierce competition and sportsmanship. Organised by the Sri Lanka Air Force, this year’s event stood out, with the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) winning the event in China Bay last weekend.
The Nearest to the PIN event saw Francisca De Mel clinch the Ladies’ award, while Thilak Wanasinghe secured the Gents’ title, both demonstrating exceptional precision and technique.
The Longest Drive contests were a thrilling highlight, with Dilini Hennanayaka showing her raw power and consistency to win the Ladies’ segment, while Group Capt. W. Wijekoon emerged victorious among the gents. 
Kumar Danushan earned the Best Overall Gross Score, underlining his all-round mastery of the course, while Manori Jayakody took home the Best Overall Net Score to show her consistency at the China Bay course.
RCGC was awarded the prestigious Eagles’ Quadrangle Cup 2025, cementing their status as a powerhouse in the golfing community. Nuwara Eliya Golf Club were the runners-up.
