Over 3,000 athletes for Relay Carnival

The Sri Lanka Schools Athletic Association (SLSA) will conduct the Sri Lanka Inter-Schools Ritzbury Relay Championship 2025 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Sports Complex in Diyagama from today.

The Meet will be held in four age group categories (Under-12, 14, 16, 18 and 20) for Boys’ and Girls’ and will conclude on April 12. The SLSA said that approximately 3,000 athletes from over 100 schools across the island are scheduled to participate in this Meet.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) has planned to conduct a qualification invitational relay race targeting the World Relay Athletics Championship 2025.
Supporting teams from Sri Lanka, India and the Maldives will participate in the invitational competition, which is scheduled to be held on April 12.
