Olympian Sriyani Kulawansa heads National Sports Selection Committee

Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage has appointed Olympian Sriyani Kulawansa, a veteran international level athlete, as the new Chairperson of the National Sports Selection Committee (NSSC). The appointment letters to the new officials appointed to the new eight-member NSSC were presented at the Ministry of Sports in Colombo.

The NSSC officials are Sriyani Kulawansa

(Chairperson), Maj. Gen. Ravi Pathiravithana (Secretary), Major Rajitha Samarasekera (Coordinating Officer), Kamal Gamlath (Sports Officer - Ministry of Sports), Ruwan Perera (Deputy Director of Sports - Sussex College), Jayamini Ileperuma (Hatton National Bank), Suresh Subramaniam (Chairman - National Olympic Committee), Anuradha Ileperuma (Additional Secretary - Ministry of  Sports).
