NEGC Club Championship to tee off on September 29

Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) Club Championship will take place on September 29 and 30 while the Graeme Sinclair Cup 2023, Ogilvy Cup 2023 (making its debut in the Board event segment) and the Annual Gold Medal 2023, are scheduled for September 28 and 29.   
These events have garnered tremendous attention, boasting a list of over 75 skilled players. For the Club Championship over 100 entries have been by NEGC.Kushal Johnpillai (Gents) and Anouk Chitty (Ladies) are expected to defend their title which they won last but Anouk’s participation looks in doubt.   
NEGC Club Championship’s prestigious event started in 1933. The first Men’s Club Champion title was clinched by M. H. Lushington.   
There will be some top-class youngsters such as Reshan Algama and Jevahn Sathasivam who could be a major threat for bigger-named players in the circuit.
