Inter-Association Netball Tournament Postponed Indefinitely Due to Bad Weather

(The Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL) has decided to postpone the NFSL Inter Association Netball Tournament 2026 indefinitely due to adverse weather conditions. (The tournament, which was being conducted after a lapse of two years, was scheduled to be held today and tomorrow (May 23–24) at the Torrington Grounds.

(Applications had been submitted by 29 association teams out of the 34 NFSL affiliated associations to participate in the tournament. (Meanwhile, the NFSL states that none of the players from the currently announced 15-member National Netball Squad for the upcoming 14th Asian Senior Netball Championship will be allowed to participate in this tournament.
