ITF Juniora Circuit Week 1 Sri Lanka’s Goonetilleke and Zihar taste success

Sri Lanka’s junior players Lisal Goonetilleke and Zaidh Zihar came out victorious on day one of the ITF Junior Circuit Week 1 tennis tournament when they defeated two Indian players Amav Bishoyi and Swastik Sharma by winning margins of two sets to nil in the first round matches played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo.   
But two other Sri Lankans Thilina Dissanayake and Methwan Wijemanne underwent defeats to Alexender Nordal of Denmark and Jimtao Lan of China also by two sets to nil.   
The five day tournament contested by junior tennis players from around the globe is scheduled to come to an end on September 30.
