HFC bag two netball titles at School Games

Holy Family Convent (HFC) Kurunegala clinched two titles at the 2022 All-Island School Games Netball Tournament held at the Maligapitiya Grounds in Kurunegala.   
HFC emerged champions in the Under-16 and in the Under-18 Tournaments, which was conducted by the Ministry of Education after a lapse of two years.   
This was also the third major title for HFC having earlier won the Junior Nationals and the Milo Inter-Schools Netball Championships respectively.   

In both finals, HFC had the better of Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya, Kurunegala.   

Meanwhile, Mahamaya BMV, Kandy secured third place in the Under-16 Tournament while Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo took third place in the Under-18 Tournament.   
Musaeus College won the Under-20 Tournament with HFC emerging runners-up and Hillwood College claiming third place.
