Five-star CH sign Nishon in 7's boost

CH and FC have sealed their fifth major signing ahead of the Inter-Club Sevens Rugby Tournament today with former St. Peter's centre Nishon Perera being their latest recruitment.

Perera had a remarkable inter-club debut season for Havelock Sports Club scoring as many as 15 tries filling the big shoes of hot-shot Danushka Ranjan in Havies backline in the 2016/2017 season after Ranjan had moved to Kandy Sports Club.

Despite having an ordinary last season, Perera has followed the footsteps of his former Havelock center-partner Hirantha Perera who crossed over to Maitland Crescent a few weeks ago along with scrum-half Sudam Parinda.

CH were further strengthened by the signing of Naveen Henakankanamge and Nivanka Prasad in a side which could certainly challenge the inter-club giants Kandy Sports Club.
