Central Asia Women’s Challenge Cup Volleyball Sri Lanka take on Uzbekistan in opener

The Central Asia Volleyball Association has decided to start 2023 Central Asia Women’s Challenge Cup Volleyball Championship with the Srilanka vs Uzbekistan match.   
Central Asia Volleyball Association and Nepal Volleyball Federation have arranged to hold this tournament from May 22-28 in Kathmandu, Nepal.   

Eight countries in the Asian region are set to compete in the tournament with Sri Lanka drawn in Pool ‘B’ with Uzbekistan, Maldives and Kazakhstan. 

 
Host nation Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh and India are in Pool ‘A’.    In the preliminary round, Sri Lanka will play Uzbekistan on May 22, Kazakhstan on May 23 and Maldives on May 24.
