Ashen to flex muscles in Bhutan

Ashen Madurasinghe will be taking part in the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports tournament which began yesterday in Bhutan’s capital Thimpu.

He will be travelling from Dubai to represent Sri Lanka in the +85 kg weight category.

In addition to him, Jagath Samarasekera and Janaka Samarasinghe will leave today to participate in the South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association’s Annual Conference and Executive Committee Meeting. They will also officiate at the South Asian competition.

Bhutan’s National Olympic is supporting the Bhutan Bodybuilding Association to organise this tournament. It is being held under the aegis of the World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (WBPF), the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (ABBF) and South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation  (SABPF). The competition will continue until June 15.
