All Island Lanka Plate Somaratna and Clement into final

The semi-finals of the All Island Lanka Plate Snooker Championship played at the MICH billiards table in Colombo yesterday turned out to be a thriller with the two matches going the full seven frames ending in Ryan Somaratna of Otters AC and Chamaka Clement of Kandy recording thrilling wins by four frames to three.

The nine-frame final for supremacy is scheduled to be played today from 1.00 p.m. onwards. The completion of the All Island Plate Championship will see the 68th National Snooker Championship getting underway on March 20.
