The Telephone party chief is reportedly holding seminars and workshops these days to brief the party’s Diyawanna members and the other activists on the various programs on the government agenda so that they would be able to place a critical assessment of them before the general public.

Participating in these briefing sessions has been declared mandatory for them . However, a section of those required to participate in these programs have developed a dislike for them. They are said to be nudging each other and whispering that it is a joke for them to do studies like school children.

Some chosen participants are playing truant while some others keeping away giving various excuses, they say.
Meanwhile, the party chief is said to be closely monitoring the attendance of the participants in order to pull up the truants.
