Worship of the Sun gave birth to Yoga

The ancient Indians resorted to the worship of the Sun before commencing their daily routine. In the course of time, this practice developed as a method of exercise to warm up the body, which is Yoga today.   

The worship of the Sun has several benefits. It develops the flexibility of the body and enables it to practice other Yoga exercises. It helps to control the weight of the body and to prevent several non-communicable diseases including diabetes, and cholesterol, promotes mental health, increases the brightness of eyes, dispels indolence, purifies the blood, and boosts the functioning of the hormone system and personal efficiency.   

It is preferable to practice Yoga in the morning, but practising it in the evening towards sunset is possible.   

Now let’s deal with the simple and easy Yoga exercise associated with the Sun worship. Nowadays 284 methods of Sun worship are practiced all over the world. The outcome of whatever method makes no difference.  

Step 01:

Keep your feet together and stand straight and looking forward breathe well retaining it for about three seconds and then release the breath.   

Step 02:

Keep your feet together stand straight, and look forward breathe well. Then raise your hands up and bend your spine back a little. Retain your breath for three seconds in this posture before releasing the breath slowly.  

Step 03: 

Keep your feet together and stand straight and then bend your body and attempt to touch your face on the knees. Do not bend your knees. Attempt to touch your hands on your feet. Keep the breath for about three seconds in his posture, before releasing the breath slowly.   

Step 04:   

Keep your feet together and stand straight. The plantar surfaces should be well seated on the floor. Then bend the body in the shape of an arch and touch the floor with your palms while retaining breath for about three seconds before releasing it.
