Wall collapses killing three construction workers

A group of three workers constructing a wall last morning  at Idampitiya in Mawanella were buried alive when the wall collapsed on  them all of a sudden. Four workers had been attending to the job, and one  of them had escaped unhurt. In about one hour, a backhoe was brought from Mawanellal  Pradeshiya Sabha, and the bodies buried under the debris were recovered. The  bodies were referred to Mawanella Hospital pending postmortem  examination.   

 Mawanella Police are conducting further investigations.
