US Ambassador meets Dinesh Gunawardena

US Ambassador in Colombo Julie Chung who met Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena discussed American assistance for Sri Lanka’s education sector, the Ministry said. 

They held talks on enhancing ties between American and local universities, providing opportunities of learning linguistics for Sri Lankan students and IT education. 

The two parties have discussed ways and means through which Sri Lanka could be provided more opportunities when it comes to higher education.
