Man falls to death from fifth floor of an apartment at Wellawatte

An individual who fell from the fifth floor of a housing complex at Ramakrishna Place in Wellawatta last morning died at the scene. The victim Rasiah Thavarasa (59) of Batticaloa was a father of two children.   

Investigations revealed that he had been employed as a watcher at a house on the fifth floor for about three years and last morning he had been cleaning the windows in the house when he lost his balance and fell down.  

OIC Wellawatta Police IP Subhash Kahandawala is conducting further investigations.
