JSP’s new strategy to strengthen party

Jathika Samagi Peramuna has taken measures to appoint action committees for every polling station in the country as an effort to strengthen the party, targeting future elections.
As such, several committees would be entrusted on the local politician of the party including district MPs, former MPs and Provincial Council representatives. 

 
“For instance, if there are 65 polling stations in the Ambalangoda polling division, politicians belonging to that party in that division would be appointed coordinators of those  polling stations,” a senior spokesperson of the party said.   

The measure has been taken to strengthen the party especially targeting the upcoming Provincial Council Election at grass-root level, it is said.
