J.R.P Suriyapperuma dies

Veteran politician J.R.P Suriyapperuma who represented Parliament from time to time for a few decades died yesterday at the age of 96. He last represented the House last from 2010 to 2015 as a national list MP of the UPFA.
Late Suriyapperuma was a historian and had a sound knowledge of Sri Lankan history.
