Illegal coastal structures removed in Galle

The Department of Coast Conservation has launched a programme to remove all unauthorized structures along the coastline in the Galle District, stretching from the Bentota Bridge to the Goviyapana Bridge in Ahangama. The operation began yesterday at Kalugoda Beach, where illegal constructions were dismantled with the assistance of officers from the Galle Police and Harbour Police.
