Gangaramaya Temple donates Rs. 30 Mn to ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ fund

Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo, has donated Rs. 30 million to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund to support relief efforts for communities affected by the recent cyclone. The cheque was handed over yesterday (4) at the Presidential Secretariat to Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake by the Chief Incumbent of Gangaramaya Temple, Venerable Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero, together with other members of the Sangha. Foreign monks, representatives of the temple’s Dayaka Sabha, and members of overseas delegations were also present at the event.
