Five seriously injured in head-on collision

Five individuals were seriously injured in a head-on collision of two lorries at Mangalaeliya in Puttalam on Sunday evening.(17)  

The injured in critical condition were admitted to Chilaw Hospital.  

One lorry was transporting vegetables from Norochcholai to Colombo and the other forage from Nawadankulama to Norochcholai. Police said the drivers and the cleaners of the two lorries had been injured.  

Mundalama Police are conducting further investigations.
