Firefighting awareness holiday programme for children at Ratmalana Airport

Airport and Aviation Services Sri Lanka has announced a special one-day Fire Fighting Awareness Holiday Programme for children this December.  
Organized by the Sri Lanka Airport & Aviation Academy (SLAAA), the programme aims to provide a fun and educational experience with hands-on firefighting activities and learning sessions at Colombo International Airport – Ratmalana (CIAR). The programme will be held on December 22, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., for children aged between 7 and 15 years. The event will include both theory and practical sessions, along with a familiarization visit to the aerodrome firefighting vehicles at CIAR.  
The full-day programme is priced at Rs. 4,900 per child, with organizers noting that only a limited number of slots are available. Parents are encouraged to register early to secure participation.
