Female lecturer of Jaffna Uni. dies of COVID-19

A female lecturer at the University of Jaffna has died yesterday at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital with COVID-19. 
The deceased has been identified as Sivaranjani Ananda Coomaraswamy (61), a resident of Ariyalai in Jaffna. 
She had been admitted to the Covid-19 Special Treatment Unit at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital a few days after contracting the virus. 

The lecturer was later transferred to the hospital’s intensive care unit on Friday, where she succumbed to 
the infection.
