Experts discuss Sri Lanka’s energy crisis online on June 8

At a time instability of the national grid is attributed to the renewable energy sector, Solar Village SDG CIC and Leads Sri Lanka are going to hold a free online discussion with top industry experts on the future of the energy sector in Sri Lanka on Sunday June 8 at 6.00 pm (local time). The Keynote address will be delivered by Emeritus Professor I. M. Dharmadasa while Chairman of Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority Professor Wijendra Bandara and Professor Janaka Ekanayake will participate in the discussion as special guest speakers. The lead panellists will be Emeritus Professors Lakshman Dissanayake and Oliver Ileperuma, Dr Lakmal Fernando and Dr Vidhura Ralapanawe.

Nilmini Roelens, Solicitor and CEO of Solar Village SDG CIC will moderate the discussion, under the theme “The Sri Lanka Energy Crisis: The Future.”
