Education Ministry secures loan from Kuwait Fund

To establish medical faculty at Moratuwa Uni.

The Education Ministry has secured a loan from Kuwait Fund with an exchange value of Rs. 6 billion to finance the establishment of a medical faculty at the Moratuwa University, a statement said.   

The Ministry, in its statement, said Minister Dinesh Gunawardane held talks with Kuwait ambassador Khalaf Dhhair and other officials of the Fund.   
The agreement will be signed later.
