Astronomer Anura C. Perera celebrates his birthday

The well-known Science Writer & Astronomer Anura C. Perera played an important role in popularizing Astronomy and Space Science in our country since the sixties. A series of commemorative Stamps issued by the Philatelic Bureau, Mr. Perera had the opportunity to present his Stamp series to the well-known Publisher H. D. Premasiri recently to celebrate his birthday. The presentation was held at the ‘Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall’ in Colombo.
