Renowned speaker Sunandaji

Vedanta Institute Colombo has once again made plans to have a series of two transformative events this March,  with the insights and guidance of world-renowned speaker Sunandaji. She is the daughter-disciple of renowned philosopher Swami A. Parthasarathy.

The series, fondly known as ‘The Bhagavad Gita Lectures by Sunandaji’ will be held from March 7-10 from 6.30 -7.45pm (each day) at the Buddhist Cultural Centre, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Thummulla Junction, Colombo 5.

In this series Sunandaji will speak about ‘Know Yourself (Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 8)’.

Designed to offer timeless insights into human relationships, intellectual clarity and self-understanding, these sessions will explore the ancient philosophical system of Vedanta, translating profound universal truths into practical principles for modern life. Vedanta, deriving its name from the Sanskrit words veda (knowledge) and anta (end), represents the culmination of knowledge.

Sunandaji will guide the audience through the Vedantic perspective, which views love not as a mere feeling dependent on attachment, but as an expression of inner harmony. By understanding that love arises from a fullness of being rather than a need, individuals can build stability in their relationships and resilience in their emotional lives.

Prior to the main event, there will be a public talk under the theme ‘The Power of Love’. This event will be held on March 5 at Lighthouse Auditorium, Horton Place, Colombo 07 from 6.15-7.30 pm. This event too,  will be delivered by Sunandaji.

Both events are sponsored by Kanapathy Chetty Selvanathan Charitable Trust. All events are open to the public. More information about the events and details about registration could be obtained by logging onto the official website www.vedantacolombo.org or by calling +94 762 796 113.
