Sri Rawana Buddhist Foundation recently held an event to present honorary title certificates to women and other selected personalities who have contributed their services to the nation, at the Public Library Auditorium in Colombo 7. 

Addressing the gathering venerable Galtude Sumithra Silmani delivered the keynote speech. 

Former secretary to the Ministry of Health, and Attorney-at-Law Dr. K.A.S. Keeragala, Paggy Moler from Germany who contributes a great service to promote Buddhist activities in Germany and Sri Lanka, Bruce Wang from Taiwan who has contributed in Buddhist and TAO activities within the island and worldwide, Astronomer Dr. Anura C. Perera and Prof. S.H. Perera, Lecturer Priyantha Dayarathne participated as guests at the event. 

Representing the organising committee members Alternative Doctor Verajith Bandara addressed the event and vote of thanks was delivered by Alternative Doctor Ruwan Weerarathne.
