Dr. Sachithra appointed President of Colombo District’s Softball Cricket Federation

Dr. Sachithra Weerasekara was recently appointed as the President of Colombo District’s Cricket (softball) Federation. A student of Ananda College, Colombo, Sachithra who excelled in several sports was well-known as a sportsman from his younger days.
 Attached to Sri Lanka Police Department as a medical practitioner, Dr. Sachithra was involved in many social service activities. 
“My main aim is to identify talented sportsman through tournament and sport development activities and motivate them to be good sportsmen and responsible citizens,” Dr. Weerasekara said speaking about his new appointment.
