Piumi Hansamali says ‘Kehelbaddara Padme’ may have used her skin cream

Model Piumi Hansamali says she met underworld leader ‘Kehelbaddara Padme’ only once, during a Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebration held in Dubai in April 2022. In a facebook post she said that, Padme attended the event with his wife and children, and they took photographs together. 

“He told me he wanted to become fair and beautiful, so I recommended Piumi Skin products,” she said. 

Hansamali claimed that Padme likely used her skincare line afterwards, saying, “I think he did use it, that’s probably why he looks so fair and attractive now.”   

She also confirmed that she was questioned by the CID regarding any alleged connection or financial transactions with Padme.   

Piumi emphasized that she has no links to any underworld figures or illegal money. “I’m an independent woman who built myself from scratch. I own Piumi Skin (Pvt) Ltd., and I don’t need anyone’s black money,” she added.
