Indian companies ready for investment in poultry farming - Feasibility and effect on local farmers being studied

Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said that two Indian companies have forwarded proposals to invest in large scale poultry and poultry product manufacturing in Sri Lanka.

The Minister said that the feasibility of such investments and the impact on local farmers is currently being studied.
