Ven Gnanasara Thera released and re-remanded

Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagodaatte Gnansara Thera, arrested and remanded on January 26, on charges of contempt of court, was granted bail by the Homagama Magistrate today. However, the Magistrate ordered that the Thera be re-remanded until tomorrow on charges of threatening Sandaya Eknaligoda. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana
