To mark Vesak Poya, a programme of observing the precepts was held at Gotami Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo 10 today. Teachers and students participated in the event and spent the day engaging in religious observances, including almsgiving, meditation and the observance of precepts. Pix by Kithsiri De Mel
