Hermi unveils 400km EVs

Hermi Electric yesterday unveiled Sri Lanka's longest-range electric three-wheeler and electric bike at what the company says is the lowest market price. The Chinese manufacturer announced that both vehicles can travel up to 400 kilometres on a single charge, with plans to introduce 600-kilometre range models in the near future. Company Chairman stated that Chinese engineers have returned to Sri Lanka to oversee the assembly process. The electric three-wheeler can be fully charged in two hours, while the bike requires just 20 minutes. Hermi Electric has also established 15 service centres across the country to support customers.
