Gangaramaya Temple hosts joint declaration for peace

Gangaramaya Temple, in collaboration with the Presidential Secretariat of Sri Lanka and the Most Venerable Mahanayaka Theros of the three Nikayas, hosted a “Joint Declaration for Peace” led by the Chief Prelates of Sri Lanka.

The event brought together members of the diplomatic community, religious leaders, and distinguished guests, highlighting a shared commitment to global harmony.

Among those present were Venerable Niyangoda Dhamma Keerthi Sri Vijithasiri Thera of the Siyam Nikaya (Malwathu Chapter), Venerable Welamitiyawe Sri Upali Anunayaka Thera, Venerable Ankumbure Premawansha Thera of the Ramanna Nikaya, and Venerable Thirikunamale Ananda Anunayaka Thera.
