Tran Trong Thanh, Counsellor Deputy Chief of Mission Vietnam and Prangtip Kongridhisuksakorn, Counsellor of Royal Thai Embassy and other distinguished guests. 
International Trade Office Chief Negotiator K.J. Weerasinghe shared his valued thoughts by delivering the keynote speech. 
Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar have enjoyed close religious, political and trade relations for more than 10 decades. When Sri Lanka was navigating through tough waters, the members of the ASEAN organisation raised their friendly hands to support Sri Lanka. 


M.S.D. Suriyakumara, who got re-elected as President of the Sri Lanka Greater – Mekong Council, in his speech mentioned these exceptional relationships that are held between Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam. 
Further, he mentioned the futuristic plans of Sri Lanka in becoming a member of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and signing of the free trade agreements with the ASEAN members after debt restructuring.
