Nirmala Sitharaman to deliver keynote address at SLES 2020

India’s Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will deliver the keynote address at Sri Lanka Economic Summit 
(SLES) 2020. 

The keynote address will be during the inaugural session on December 1, 2020. 

The theme of SLES 2020 is ‘Roadmap for Take-Off: Driving a People-Centric Economic Revival’.

Sitharaman, an Economist, has been serving in her current capacity since May 2019 and was previously the Defence Minister of India. Prior to this, she served as the State Minister (Independent Charge) of the Commerce and Industry Ministry of India, from May 2015 to September 2017.
