Cinnamon Lakeside started the holiday season in great style with its cake-mixing ceremony, with top industry players, key influencers and business partners in attendance.
General Manager Dushyananta Tittawella opened the ceremony together with the leadership team and culinary crew of the hotel. The guests were involved in the traditional making of the Christmas mixture of fruits, which is a rich mixture of dried fruits, raisins, sultanas, and cherries and candied peels and the high quality nuts all mixed with the seasonal spices they used as the foundation in making the hotel Christmas cakes and confectionaries.
To add a creative touch, the ceremony had grand entrance with the Santas coming in through zip lines which included a modern and interactive aspect and yet maintained the beauty of the occasion. Alongside a live band playing seasonal melodies, guests were severed a spread of cocktails, mocktail and food especially designed for the event.
