Kantale in Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province has become the latest town to receive state-of-the-art banking facilities from the Commercial Bank of Ceylon.

Sri Lanka and its creditors will need to take the final decision on debt restructuring and the IMF will not get involved, Krishna Srinivasan, Director of the IMF’s Asia and Pacific Department said.
