51-year-old man, wife shot at in Thalangama

A 51-year-old man and his 48-year-old wife were shot at while they were sleeping at their home in Wimalathissa Mawatha, Thalangama South early this morning, Police said.  

They said two persons arrived on a motorbike had carried out the shooting. Police has found two live bullets at the crime scene.

The injured were admitted to the National Hospital where the husband succumbed to his injuries.
