Weapons and ammo found from Mirihana

A large stock of weapons and ammunitions, including swords and knives were found from a house in Mirihana this evening, police said.

Accordingly, the Police found 16 air rifles, 56 plastic pistols, 242 swords, 95 daggers, 60 knives, 10 binoculars and several tins filled with ammunitions from a house, while conducting an awareness programme to identify and eradicate dengue breeding grounds in and around the Mirihana area.
