Undergrads released on bail

The Colombo Magistrate today released on personal bail six undergraduates of the Kelaniya University Science Faculty who were alleged to have been involved in a clash that took place between two factions of students of the science faculty on Poya day.

The Magistrate released the student’s on Rs 100,000 surety bail on each of them and fixed further trial for March 29, 2012. (By T. Farook Thajudeen)
