Two brothers caught selling heroin near school

Two brothers allegedly selling heroin outside a school at Kahagalla in Katugastota were arrested yesterday, Katugastota Police said.

They said one brother was 35 years old while the other was 30 and at the time of their arrest they were alleged to have had a stock of heroin in their possession.

Investigations revealed that they were drug addicts, who had been engaged in this racket for a long time. The brothers were out on bail after spending time in jail on burglary charges. The cases against them are pending. (Mohmed Asik)
