Thalatha yet to decide

UNP Ratnapura District Parliamentarian Thalatha Athukorala today said that she had yet to decide on the participation on the UNP nomination board appointed in view of the upcoming Provincial Council elections.

“I haven’t received any letter in writing yet. I will make a decision once I received the letter,” she said.

The UNP Leadership Council yesterday announced the appointment of a 12-member nomination board comprising MPs Sajith Premadasa and Thalatha Athukorala.

MPs Premadasa and Ms. Athukorala earlier rejected calls to join the newly appointed Leadership Council of the UNP. (YP)
