Suspect commits suicide inside prison

A suspect who had been remanded for peddling Heroin has committed suicide inside the Kalutara North Prison this afternoon.

The 44-year-old victim, a resident of Moratuwa had been remanded by the Kalutara Magistrate for possessing Heroin, the Police Media Unit said.

His body has been transferred to Nagoda Hospital Morgue. (K. K. K.)
